PROJECT SUMMARY

ActionCity emerged in the Singapore collectibles retail scene with the vision of creating unique and exciting experience through its exclusive tie-ups with world class partners. The aim of this project is to expand their vision into a newly redesigned website with a product focus on the BearBrick collection.

My reflection

Working in a group makes me appreciate the shared goals my team aims to achieve. With the diverse creative minds within the team, it was important for us to align and focus on the essentials and prioritise our users.

I have learnt to value the voices of my team members, being considerate of what others think or have to say.

Working in a team gives me the opportunity to bounce off ideas with another team mate.

Given how broad MCCY is, there were moments we faced a roadblock and had to start over / take a few steps back - it is wonderful to have the support of one another and be determined to work on the best possible solution.

Coming up with a project timeline gives us a guide on what we should be doing throughout the 2-weeks duration, it gives us room and flexibility to focus on work which scope requires more time.
Future opportunities

With the Singpass and Corpass login methods being implemented on other Government-body websites, we see a possibility how both individual and corporate users might consider utilising "Open ID" and "Open Authorisation" for quicker and secure transaction processes.

Consideration of an itinerary planning or wish list function for logged in users.

Contents for each page could be refined through card sorting activities.
